This microfiber tote is inspired by the Milwaukee Art Museum's dramatic expansion, tthe first US building designed by Spanish-born architect, engineer, and artist Santiago Calatrava. The addition opened in 2001.
The centerpiece is the Quadracci Pavillion, a 90-foot high transparent gathering place enclosed by a light controlling sunscreen called the Burke Brise Soleil. It can be raised or lowered, creating a unique moving sculpture moving sculpture that the architect has likened to a bird in flight.
This exclusive design provides revenue to support the mission and programs of the Milwaukee Art Museum.
