ORDERING

For fastest service, we recommend that you order online. You will receive an e-mail order confirmation when your order is received and shipping confirmation e-mail when your order has been shipped. The e-mail order confirmation is your receipt. It will include an itemized list of your order, cost of each item and a total. All shipments will include a packing list that will serve as a gift receipt for gift orders.

If you prefer, you may place your order by telephone at 414-224-3210, any day from 10 AM to 5 PM Central Time. If you need to reach us outside of these hours please leave a message or e-mail museumstore@mam.org. Someone will get back to you by the end of the next business day.

PAYMENT

The Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. We do not accept checks, cash, debit cards, in-store gift cards, in-store credit, or COD online. Your credit card will be billed at the time of shipment.


MEMBER DISCOUNT CODE

GIFT WRAP

Most items can be specially packaged for gift giving for an additional $5 per item. The Milwaukee Art Museum provides two options for gift wrap. The first is our silver Milwaukee Art Museum Box with blue ribbon. The second, reserved for appropriate items, is our silver gift-wrap. Let us choose the best option for your purchase. Please check the box next to each item you would like gift-wrapped on the Order Review page. A gift receipt and gift card with your personalized message will be included with every gift shipment.


SALES TAX

Shipments within Wisconsin will be charged 5.6% sales tax.


RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY

Merchandise Damaged in Transit
Notify us immediately at museumstore@mam.org. Claims must be made within 3 business days of receipt of shipment. Your e-mail order confirmation or gift receipt (packing list) must be included with return. Replacement merchandise will be sent or credit given once the return is received.
Return Policy

If you would like to make a return, please notify us at museumstore@mam.org before sending us your return. Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, all sales are final. Posters and clearance items are not returnable. Merchandise must be unused and in original packaging and condition. Please enclose e-mail order confirmation or gift receipt (packing list) with return. Insure all items over $100 for the full amount of the invoice. Shipping, insurance, gift wrap, and handling charges are non-refundable. Please note the Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store will only issue exchanges or store credits for returned gift items.


SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

To insure prompt shipping, please note that UPS is our primary carrier and cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.

We offer two shipping options for delivery within the continental U.S. – UPS Ground and 2-Day Express.
All orders are shipped via UPS.
Please allow 7 to 10 business days from shipping notification for delivery within the continental U.S. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday only, excluding holidays.
We are unable to deliver to Post Office boxes.

2-Day Express Shipping

Add $25 to the rates listed above for express shipping of orders up to $300.00 within the continental U.S. 2-Day Express orders for shipment within the continental U.S. are processed the following business day, Monday through Friday only. Orders with a value greater than $300.00 will be priced on an individual basis. You will be contacted with a shipping quote for your approval before your merchandise is sent. Orders received on Friday will be processed the following Monday. Express deliveries are shipped by UPS to all addresses within the continental U.S.

Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico:

All shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico will be quoted on an individual basis. We will confirm the shipping rate with you via e-mail before shipment.  Orders will be shipped 2 business days after we receive verification from you that the shipping rate is acceptable.  At this time we will also send a final email acknowledging the shipment of your purchase.

International Orders - Shipping

All international orders will be quoted on an individual basis. You will receive shipping rate confirmation via e-mail before delivery.  Orders will be shipped 2 business days after we receive verification from you that the shipping rate is acceptable.  At this time we will also send a final e-mail acknowledging the shipment of your purchase.

The customer is responsible for any taxes, duties, tariffs, customs, or other restrictions on international shipments.  Because each package has different weight and dimensions, and each region of the world requires different rates, we will charge your credit card with the corresponding amount.  Standard shipping charges will appear on your initial e-mail order confirmation.

Does the Milwaukee Art Museum Store sell reproductions of works of art from the Museum's collection?
The Milwaukee Art Museum Store offers a wide range of books, posters, cards and objects based on the Museum's permanent collection. We also sell items created for special exhibitions and related products.

PLACING AN ORDER

How do I place an online order?
Once you have selected items on individual product pages using "Add to Cart," click on the "Check Out" icon located at the bottom of the page to enter your shipping information, billing information, and credit card number. Remember to enter your Member Discount Code, if applicable, on the Order Review page. Click on the “Complete Order” button and your order will be processed in a few moments—security guaranteed.

How do I place an order if I don't want to make a purchase online?
You may also order by telephone. To place an order by telephone, please call 414-224-3210 between the hours of 10am-5pm daily. (central standard time).

Does the Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store offer gift wrap?

Will tax be applied to my order?

I represent an organization with tax-exempt status. Can I place a tax-exempt order online?
The Museum honors the tax-exempt status of eligible institutions. However, you cannot automatically place a tax-exempt order in the Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store. Please contact museumstore@mam.org for assistance.

I represent an educational institution. Is my educational discount available online?
Educators receive a 10% discount on educational materials at the Museum. However, you cannot automatically receive your discount in the Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store. Please contact museumstore@mam.org for assistance.

What forms of payment does the Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store accept?
You must use a credit card to place an order in the Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We do not accept personal checks, cash, money orders, in-store gift cards, in store credit, or COD.

The Milwaukee Art Museum makes every reasonable effort to ensure that all of the transactions that occur in our online store are secure. All credit card numbers submitted to the site are encrypted using "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) encryption. SSL technology is an industry standard for protecting sensitive information as it is transmitted over the Internet.

What shipping options does the Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store offer?
The categories of shipping available online are UPS standard delivery, UPS Express delivery, and International. Please see our Shipping section for details for non-continental United States and international delivery.

What are your delivery times?
With standard delivery within the continental United States, most orders will arrive within 7-10 days of shipping notification. With express delivery, orders will arrive within 2 business days of shipping notification. Orders received on Friday will be processed the following Monday. We are unable to deliver to post office boxes.

Will my order arrive in one package?
For the greatest care and protection in shipping, your items may be packaged in separate boxes. Please note that this will not affect your shipping charges (you will only be charged once for delivery of all shipments), but you may receive the boxes at different times or on different days.

What are your shipping and delivery rates? Are there additional fees for oversized items?
Shipping charges are based on delivery location and order total. Please see our Shipping section for details for non-continental United States and international delivery.

Can my order be shipped to multiple addresses?
Orders placed with the Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store can only be shipped to a single address per order. To send gifts to more than one recipient, please place multiple orders with different Shipping Information for each address.

Do you deliver to addresses outside the United States?
Yes, The Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store ships to addresses outside the United States.

Who is responsible for duties and taxes for orders shipped outside the United States?
The recipients of shipments are responsible for any duties and taxes.

Are there any shipping restrictions for packages delivered outside the United States? What if I have special shipping instructions?
If you have questions about sending items that may be restricted or prohibited in another country, or have special shipping instructions, please enter these in the “special instructions” window of the Shipment Summary page.

How will I know if my order went through?
You will receive an e-mail order confirmation to acknowledge our receipt of your order. You will also receive a shipping confirmation e-mail when your order is shipped.

What information is collected when I place an online order ?
The Milwaukee Art Museum respects your privacy. When you make a purchase in the Milwaukee Art Museum Online Store we will ask you to provide the personal information necessary to fulfill your order. This personal information can include your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, and credit card number. This is the same information requested when you place an order by telephone or through the mail. For online orders we also require your email address so you can receive order and shipping confirmation emails and so we can communicate with you if we have difficulty processing your order. Is my credit card information kept securely?
All credit card numbers submitted to our Web site are encrypted. We retain your credit card details for our order records, but this information is never shared with third parties.
