Layton's Legacy, a 27-minute documentary film made for Milwaukee Public Television, traces the history of the Layton Art Gallery over the course of six generations. It includes highlights from the life of Frederick Layton, historic images of the original Layton Art Gallery and Layton School of Art, and reproductions of the collection's greatest masterpieces. The film and the accompanying 40 page booklet with color reproductions provide the best insight, in a concise format, into Frederick Layton's life and the Layton Art Collection that have been published to date.
