The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha is a Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes, first published in two parts in 1605 and 1615. It is a founding work of Western literature, considered by many to be one of the greatest books ever written.
In the novel, a nobleman from La Mancha has read so many chivalric romances that he decides to set out on a quest to revive chivalry and serve his nation as a knight errant, Don Quixote.
Our ornament of the famous Spanish romantic is here interpreted in layered textiles, richly embellished with gold trim—completely made by hand. Fair Trade
